Associate Engineer; System Support [RFID & AI Optical Recognition Systems]

Responsibilities

• Implementation of a RFID and Optical Recognition system consisting of hardware and software at the customer’s site
• Setting up a test environment
• Train your customers on how to use it during implementation
• Post-installation maintenance
• Responding to equipment errors/failures that occur after installation.
• Any other ad-hoc duties assigned

Requirements

[Must]

• Experience or knowledge of setting up and maintaining servers, network environments, security environments, etc. (Knowledge of Linux, Windows Server, or SQL Server is required)
• Experience in installation of any machines or systems which consist of both hardware and software
• Good knowledge in both IT hardware and software
• Willing to work on irregular working hours when needed
• Excellent communication skill to liaise with other group companies (Japan, Macau, Australia, Philippines, USA) and customers 
• Willing to go overseas business trips

[Advantage] 

• Experience in implementing hardware and software, such as installing and maintaining bank ATMs and POS
• Degree in robotics, IT Infrastructure is an added advantage
• Experience in RFID and/or Optical Recognition Systems is an added advantage
• Knowledge and experience in IoT products is an added advantage
