Field Support Manager [Japanese Speaking/ Up to $6,5k ]

Position Summary:

Field Support to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 to 5 years of engineering experience, with a focus on vacuum pump servicing, PLC systems, and sputtering or etching tools. Experience in the semiconductor, aerospace, or vacuum technology sectors is highly desirable. 

Key Responsibilities:
1. Field Service Support:
· Provide on-site technical support for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
· Address and resolve customer issues promptly to minimize downtime.
· Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of equipment.
 
2. Technical Expertise:
· Utilize expertise in vacuum pump servicing and PLC systems to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
· Apply knowledge of sputtering and etching tools, PVD, and other coating machines to support advanced manufacturing processes.
· Continuously update technical skills and knowledge to keep pace with industry advancements.
 
3. Customer Relations:
· Communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking clients and partners to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
· Provide detailed reports and documentation of service activities and outcomes.
 
4. Project Assistance:
· Assist in planning and executing field service projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams to address complex technical challenges and deliver comprehensive solutions.
· Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.

Requirements :

· Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
· 5 years and above of experience in field service, preferably in semiconductor, aerospace, vacuum technology, or related industries machinery, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
· Proficiency in vacuum pump servicing, PLC systems, and hands-on experience with sputtering or etching tools.
· At least 3 years of experience with PVD or other coating machines.
· Japanese language proficiency is required to support our Japanese-speaking clients and partners.
· Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed to support field service operations and occasional overseas travel is needed.
